The Evil King And I - Demo Prologue

You are the dread, the awful, the feared and revered Evil King Elizabeth. You are the powerful ruler of a kingdom, but this life is not without its challenges. Namely, sometimes adventurers from the next kingdom over come and try to kill you.

One such plucky adventurer has arrived today...

In this demo, you can choose Evil King Elizabeth's appearance and play through the prologue in which you meet an adventurer who has come to your castle looking to defeat you.

The full planned version of this game will feature:

• An expanded cast of four 'romance' options
• Multiple character portraits to include different emotions
• Music!
• Characters with different sexual orientations and gender identities across the LGBTQIA spectrum, including aromantic, non-binary, pansexual, and gender-non-conforming characters
• Choices that affect the narration, and
• Multiple endings.

This game was made for My First Game Jam in summer 2020. It is my first game programmed in Ren'Py. Many thanks to the kind jammers in the My First Game Jam discord for their patient help with my questions!
