Counterpoint

This is a fan comic about moving on.

Sadly, it does not end well.

SPOILERS FOR THE END OF THE GAME!

I love all the characters in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. I think they all portray different stages of grief, different ways of dealing with emotions, and many of them in messy, unhealthy, relatable ways. But Monoco is my favorite. And when I saw Monoco in Maelle's ending, suited up, ushering people in to see Verso's performance... I couldn't imagine a world in which he voluntarily participated in an outcome that would upset Verso so much. 

So I had to make a comic about it. 

Warnings for grief, canon typical discussion and ideation of suicide, and depictions of serious injury to a wooden man.
